Please join your cycling friends at the EBC Annual Celebration Banquet to reminisce on the year's activities, acknowledge our volunteers, celebrate our achievements, and welcome in the newly elected club officers for the upcoming year. The Banquet is the time to reflect on the past year and reaffirm your interest in cycling. Sometimes, it’s the only time of year when the Saturday riders meet the Sunday Hollywood riders or when the weekend riders meet the weekday riders. The Banquet is traditionally the largest gathering of your fellow Club Members.  2013 Club President, Xavier Falconi and Vice President, Mary Beth Garcia will be the Masters of Ceremonies.  

This year's banquet will feature some wonderful door prizes, drawn at random, donated by our sponsors.

Special $40 discounted price to EBC paid up members. You have to be an "active" EBC member to qualify.

When:
Sunday, February 10th @ 5:30 PM

Venue: Perricone’s Marketplace, Outside Garden Pavilion and Garden.  15 Southeast Tenth Street, Miami FL 33131 (Mary Brickell Village, between South Miami Avenue and Brickell Avenue).  Please Enter the restaurant through the garden path to the right of the main entrance.

Cost is $40 per person for EBC Members
Cost is $50 per person for Non EBC Members

Cost includes a 3 course meal with regular coffee, sodas, ice tea and free refills.



Banquet Agenda:

 5:30 p.m.  ~ 7:00 p.m.  Reception and Social Hour

 
  • Please check in at the EBC reception desk inside the Gazebo in the garden area.  At this time each guest will receive a ticket for our wonderful door prizes that will be raffled off throughout the banquet.  You will also have the opportunity to purchase your reception alcohol drink tickets when you check in.
  • Soft drinks and ice tea can be ordered from the servers throughout the evening and are included in the price of your ticket .
  • Alcohol drink tickets are available for purchase at the Reception Table @ a cost of $7.00. each.  We will only be able to accept CASH for the Drink Tickets, so please hit the ATM machine for your reception drink fees J.  These drink tickets can be redeemed for:  The Beer of your choice, well liquor cocktails or a choice of Perricone's Pinot Grigio (white Italian) or Perricone's Montepulciano (Red Cabernet blend) Wine by the glass. These are the only alcoholic drinks available to purchase and through tickets only during the 5:30-7 PM reception.  We have negotiated these discounted drink ticket prices with Perricone’s to expedite this process and get everyone a drink and the opportunity to mingle with their fellow club members faster!  Periconne’s servers will be able to quickly redeem your ticket drink orders without the time consuming  hassle of individual checks.  Once you are seated for dinner, you can open a tab with your server and order any drink, bottle of wine or additional food item you want.
  • EBC Retro Jerseys are in!!  Retro and Traditional Jerseys will be on sale during the reception hour of the banquet.  If you have ordered a jersey or kit online and it is available, we will bring to the banquet for pick up.  So order online in advance and we will try our best to fill all orders from our current inventory and have them ready for pick up at the banquet.  (Excludes Women’s sizing Jersey’s as the December orders have not arrived yet)
  • You are welcome to mingle in the Garden beside the restaurant, in the EBC Private Dining area or stay in the Gazebo during the 5:30 to 7:00 PM Social Hour.
  • A reminder that drinks that are purchased at the Perricone’s bar (front of the restaurant) must be consumed at the bar and cannot be brought into our Private Dining Banquet area.
  • The Reception Cocktail Hour will start at 5:30 PM for the early birds end promptly at 7:00 PM so we can continue with our festivities!  At or before 7:00 PM please find your seat in the dining area and be seated for dinner.  At this time you are welcome to start a tab with your credit card with your server for any alcoholic beverages, bottles of wine or off the included menu items you wish.   If you have any extra drink tickets you can present them to your dinner server for the same drinks offered during the reception.  The tickets are redeemable all night for the drinks indicated (wine, beer and well mixed drinks)

From 7:00 to 7:45 PM:  Dinner and Dessert


Appetizers:  Mozzarella Caprese served Family Style & Homemade Bruschetta with fresh baked bread

Dinner choice of one (1) of the following entrees:
  • Chicken Breast Marsala, Served with the Starch and Vegetable of the Day
  • Fresh Grilled Salmon, Served with the Starch and Vegetable of the Day
  • Penne with Grilled Chicken, Calamata Olives, Sundried Tomatoes, Feta Cheese, Basil, Garlic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Penne Pasta Pomodoro

Dessert Choice of: NY Style Cannoli OR Homemade Gelato in a choice of Hazelnut or Coconut

From 7:45 PM to 9:00 - Indoctrination of the New EBC Board, Announcements and Monthly Club Meeting Business


**Door Prizes will be announced from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM so hold onto the RED Door Prize tickets you will receive at Banquet Registration!!
 

Parking:  Valet Parking available at restaurant and the restaurant will validate for a discounted rate.  Parking is also available on 10th Street 1 block towards 2nd avenue in the Mary Brickell Village parking garage.  Street metered parking is scarce, yet available if you feel lucky!


The banquet is one of the best benefits of being an EBC Club Member as EBC subsidizes a percentage of the banquet costs as a gift to our loyal EBC Club Members.  We have had an overwhelming response and sold out the last 2 year’s banquet.  Therefore, we have found a larger space to accommodate our members this year. 

Seating is Limited and EBC’s banquet has sold out 3 weeks prior to the event last year.
