Tour de France Party

Woody's West Tavern, Miami Springs

Please Click Here to RSVP if you plan to have LUNCH

Woody’s is opening up early just for EBC that day!  So please RSVP by RSVP'ing so they have enough servers on staff  to accommodate our hungry EBC crowd - Thank you!

There is NO charge for this event.   Everyone will be responsible for their own tabs at Woodys.  Just show up and have fun!

Together we will watch the  Tour De France's Stage 20 Saint-Pee-sur-Nivelle-Espelette , on Saturday, July 28.  This day will be an individual time trail day, where there will be a final opportunity to witness a change in the hierarchy and why not see the Yellow Jersey switch shoulders. The geography of the Basque region will make a unique day of time trials.

Like the cyclists in the Tour, our pre-party ride includes a time trial in El Hueco and El Huequito!!!   18-20 and 20-22 will add miles to the 16-18 route by doing additional loops around El Hueco (16-18 and 17-19 two loops, 18-20 and 20-22 four loops).

  • Groups 16-18, 17-19, 18-20  Meet by 6:45am, Pedals-up 7:00am
  • Group 14-16  Meet by 7:45am, Pedals up 8:00am

The routes can be accessed from our club RWGPS library:

Enjoy a great lunch and watch the final stage of the Tour de France in the outside patio area with huge screen TV’s.   The lunch is great with burgers, wraps, salads and great fare…and of course a full bar with your favorite beer.  Bring Lunch money with tip money to spare for the great service the wait staff always provide.

Here's a view of the 2015 party when we all gathered at Woody's for lunch, prizes and the cheer on the Tour de France racers as they arrived in Paris.
