YOU NEED NOT RSVP/REGISTER IF YOU ARE ONLY RIDING.

Woody’s is opening up early just for EBC that day!  So please RSVP by RSVP'ing so they have enough servers on staff  to accommodate our hungry EBC crowd - Thank you!

There is NO charge for this event.   Everyone will be responsible for their own tabs at Woodys.  Just show up and have fun!

This year, we are trying something new.  Instead of watching the somewhat anti-climatic last day, we are getting together for Tour De France's Stage 20 Megève/Morzine-Avoriaz, on Saturday, July 23.

After almost three weeks of racing across France, the winner of the Tour de France will likely be decided in one stage, the mountainous 20th stage.

Unlike the cyclists in the Tour, our pre-party ride won't take you over two Alpine passes and downhill at 60mph, but you can tell us tall tales of your exploits as we chill post-ride and enjoy this decisive stage.

We’ll be riding our bikes and settling in at Woody’s West End Tavern in Miami Springs for lunch and cheering them on!  It’s a fun day of bicycling and socializing with friends.  There is no ride fee required, just show up ready to have fun!  The riding starts at 8:00 AM SHARP departing from Woody’s.

Previous year's include a ride past Curtis Mansion, we've had Gerry Garcia sharing some Miami Springs history and check out Willy Suarez chilling at Woody’s after the 17++  ride to El Hueco

Ride Information: All rides depart at 7:00 am from/to Woody’s Tavern in Miami Springs.

  • The 14-16 peloton will ride in Miami Springs and the Virginia Gardens neighborhoods.
  • The 16-18 and 18-20 pelotons will do a very similar ride to our Curtiss Mansion Spice Ride.
  • There’s no 20 -22 but the 18-20 route has a couple of opportunities for long sprints at el Hueco and el Huequito!
  • All rides will end back at Woody’s in time for lunch, a trivia contest, a Tour de France spelling bee and some strenuous TV watching!

Come prepared as you would any EBC ride - helmets and 2 water bottles are a must.  No earbuds are allowed.

All rides will conclude so we can reconvene back at Woody’s in time for lunch, a trivia contest, a Tour de France spelling bee and some strenuous TV watching!  Woody’s is opening up early to service the EBC Club Members and will be serving complementary chips, salsa and queso.

Enjoy a great lunch and watch the final stage of the Tour de France in the outside patio area with huge screen TV’s.   The lunch is great with burgers, wraps, salads and great fare…and of course a full bar with your favorite beer.  Bring Lunch money with tip money to spare for the great service the wait staff always provide.

Here's a view of the 2015 party when we all gathered at Woody's for lunch, prizes and the cheer on the Tour de France racers as they arrived in Paris.
