Volunteers Welcome!

As a 501c(3) mission-driven, non-profit organization, we rely on you to see EBC's vision into reality!

Volunteers are the very foundation of the Everglades Bicycle Club. With the mission of “building better communities through bicycling,” volunteers are the direct link between EBC’s work and community integration.

  • Community Service hours given.
  • Local Business & organizations promote your business.

Members you’ve enjoyed EBC’s many hosted events, we appreciate that you volunteer your time to support your bicycle club. It is because of you EBC members and valuable volunteers that EBC has been around since 1976 and still going strong!

Come volunteer with the oldest bicycle club in South Florida and help change the world!

EBC Roland Mazzotti - to benefit the Alzheimer's Association

We are in need of help at beginning Tuesday March 15  through March 20th, 2016 for this event.

Remember you can help AND ride in the event.

These are perfect opportunities for students needing volunteer areas or organizations, businesses, church groups, etc.  Types of opportunities are listed below.
  • Packet Pickup:  Want to help before the day of the ride?  Help us hand out ride packets the week before the ride
  • Purchasing, Sorting and packing:  Want to help before the day of the ride?  Like to shop?  Help us purchase the supplies for our rest stops.  After shopping we also need help staging the supplies for delivery to the rest stops early the day of the ride.
  • Sponsor and Service the a Rest Stop: If you sponsor a rest stop, you can promote, decorate, and brand the rest stop to your specific organization. EBC supplies all the food and supplies, you just need to supply the team of workers to prepare the food and support the cyclists.  Training and tips for how to run the rest stop are also provided to all volunteers.  So this is a plug and play rest stop!
  • Setup, registration, lunch servers, merchandise sales, cleanup: Assist the day of the event in one of the many areas we need volunteers.  We limit the number of paid positions so that we can maximize what we give to our charity. Its really fun and very interesting to see what goes on in the background of a large event.
  • Car Parking the morning of the road to direct the cyclist car traffic and maximize the parking space allocated at Homestead Miami Speedway, 1 Speedway Boulevard Homestead, FL.
